With this episode we introduce the republican primary candidates.

In the interest of keeping things balanced, as we did with the democrats, we play a little "good quote/bad quote" with these guys.

Within a few weeks, with candidate introductions out of the way, we'll start focusing each podcast on a particular issue. The first issue we'll cover is the primary election process. How fair is it? Why is it the way it is? And what would our candidates stand o election reform. Stay tuned.

With this episode we introduce the democratic primary candidates. Regretfully, time only lets us introduce 7 of the over 40 candidates in this democratic race.

After that we play a little game of good quote/bad quote with these candidates.

We also go into what Citizenunderdog is all about and give an overview of the kinds of things we'll be talking about in future episodes.

With the presidential primaries coming up I realized I was sorrily ignorant when it came to knowing these candidates.

So, I went out looking for a certain kind of resource. Something with a brief history on an issue followed by a run down on where each candidate stands on that issue (how they’ve voted on that issue and how they’ve talked about it).

It didn't seem like an uncommon thing to look for. Automobile makers let you compare their model against another manufacturers model online. We can go to any mobile service provider website and find a comparison chart of multiple plans. But when it comes to the presidential primary candidates there is no easy to digest format out there for us.

So that’s what this is – a podcast reference guide for voters, we're all underdogs enough already without the trouble it takes to get a clear picture of our presidential hopefuls.
